Best Ways to Integrate
and Blend Your Ads
The Adsense TOS says nothing about making the ads match your site, so if you blend ads in and integrate them well, you'll be increasing your CTR legally and effectively. I'll outlining three great ways to blend the ads into your site inluding changing your site's font to match the ads, placing similar parts on your site with ad-like information, and dealing with image ads.
Change Your Site's Font To Match The Ads
If you've placed Adsense ads on you're site on a sidebar, they might not quite be getting as much attention as you had hoped for. However, you can add some content to that sidebar as well that looks the same as your ads to draw more attention to your ads. For example, you have the main body of your site on the left side, and on the right you have a 120px wide sidebar. You place a 120x240 ad over on the right, in addition to some text that is formatted the same way as the ad. The formatting varies between the different ad type, so you'll just have to see what the ad is displaying and match that font and color. If you have real content on the right side of your page along with the ad, the relevancy that Adsense provides will be effective, and you'll get more clicks on both your content and your ads.
Place Content Similar To The Ads On Your Site
This is very similar to the previous tip, but instead of placing ads directly next to similar content, try putting some ad-looking content in different spots of your site, not just near the ads. If visitors learn that they can find helpful information from these ad-like links, they'll begin searching for other content blocks on your site that look like that and they'll find...the ads. This technique won't necessarily work for everyone but it's worth a try. Also, you can say "click on these links" above the imitation ads and you won't be violating the Adsense TOS. Once the user clicks on your content links, they might check out an ad as well.

Dealing With Image Ads
This is quite possibly the simplest form of blending your ads. All you have to do is place an image on your site in the shape of an ad. Have this link to somewhere on your site, and much like the text links in previous tips, the user will check out your image ads and then quite possibly check out the real ads. Just make a big deal about clicking on the image for more information (your ad, not the Adsense ad), and also make sure text ads are turned off for the ad unit..
